The front foundation wall of this home, was inwardly bowed approximately two inches. Our representatives met with the homeowner, who made it clear that she did not want any visible signs of repair, so the available bracing options were ruled out. We opted for the solution referred to as 'Push Rod & Grout'. This is done by first excavating the wall to footer depth. The wall is then returned to plumb by applying pressure from the inside. Which returns the wall to plumb. Once the wall is straightened, it is reinforced by installing rebar and concrete grout the entire inner cavity of the wall every four feet on center. The dramatically increased the lateral strength of the foundation wall. We then apply a waterproof membrane and a complete exterior drainage system. This significantly reduces the exterior pressure on the wall.
